Description
Nisser (from Denmark) and Tomten (Sweden) are very similar characters, mischievous little fellows traditionally responsible for guarding the home or farmstead. If you treated them well they would look after you, but if you forgot to leave them a bowl of porridge, then at the very best you could expect to have your shoes hidden!
Make sure you leave them a bowl of rice pudding on Christmas Eve (with a big lump of butter), and if you’ve been good, who knows what presents you might get!
Our beautiful collection of four little red and white Christmas elf tree decorations wear red woolly hats, and with their happy little faces they will brighten any room. Hanging on red cord, they would also look lovely on a wreath or tied onto napkins.
