Delivery, Returns and Christmas Stock 2020

We have been fortunate to receive most, if not all, of the Christmas ranges we have ordered, as many suppliers are having supply chain issues. Currently we have good stock of most items, but some bestsellers have already run out, and with the website busier than ever (thank you!) we cannot guarantee we can get more! If there is something you have set your heart on for this Christmas, do give us a ring and we can give you a more accurate idea of how long stock will last or set one aside for you.

We are packing as fast as we can, and while most orders are despatched within 48 hours, we have been advised by our delivery partner that they are already under huge pressure and your order may take longer to be delivered than usual.

We will close for Christmas on Friday 18th December (the last date for UK posting) and will open again on January 4th. Orders may be placed during this time but they may not be despatched until we return, as we take a well-earned break with our families (and if I am going to be totally honest, I intend to fall asleep on the sofa with a glass of schnapps while watching A Muppet Christmas Carol).

We charge a flat fee of £3.49 for postage and packing for orders to the UK and N.Ireland under £40, above £40 it’s free. We aim to despatch most orders within two working days of receiving them, although at peak periods it may take longer. We use Royal Mail Standard Delivery for most orders, although exceptionally large or bulky items may be despatched separately using our chosen courier.

Should an item be out of stock or unavailable for some reason, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange either a substitute or place the item on backorder. (Please allow 28 days for delivery in rare circumstances).

We try to recycle as much of our packing materials as possible.


Postage to mainland Europe is £8.95, and £12.95 to the US. Please select your country of shipping at checkout and we will do the rest!


We want you to be as delighted with our products as we are, and therefore we offer a 14 day no-quibble guarantee. Should you not be delighted with your order please ring us to obtain a returns code, then return the item to us, unused and in its original packaging. The item must be in a resalable condition in order to receive a full refund. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us, so we recommend that you send it to us recorded delivery, or obtain a proof of posting certificate. We are sorry but we are unable to refund the cost of returns postage.


Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the details they have provided are accurate and up-to-date. Should a payment be returned due to an invalid card or account being used we will invoice the customer for a full refund of any charges we incur. If a customer supplies an old, incorrect or incomplete address we will not be held responsible should their order not be received. We would refund/send replacement only when/if the original is returned to us by Royal Mail and this would be less any postage, packaging or payment charges we have incurred. To avoid any problems please ensure all contact information is kept up-to-date and check this each time you order.

Faulty products; your products are covered by a 12 months guarantee from time of purchase. If there is any problem with the item caused by a manufacturing defect or a defect in materials please return the item to us following the guidelines above. When we have received the goods, we will make a decision as to whether they need to go back to the manufacturer for inspection, whether a full refund will be made or replacement goods provided. Please indicate if you would rather have a refund or replacement. This excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or mis-use.
